A clock beside your work
Put your phone or tablet on a stand beside your work, study notes or reading. A large analog dial lets you glance at the time without opening another screen. Start with the clock itself; turn on extra information only when it helps your routine.
Set up a desk clock
Open Simple Clock and choose a position where the dial is easy to read. Choose light or dark appearance to suit the room. On iPhone and iPad, keep the app open for desk-clock use and tap to hide the toolbar. Lock Mode helps prevent accidental touches. These controls are described in the iOS app guide; Android settings and gestures can differ.
Read your schedule on the dial
On iPhone and iPad, optional Calendar and Reminders integration adds upcoming items as clock needles. Android supports optional calendar-event needles. Grant the relevant permission only if you want that information on the face. Keep your calendar app as the place to edit the original event or reminder.
Choose the right platform
Both listings offer an analog clock. Android also describes full-screen alarms, a countdown timer, weather and calendar needles. Android alarm and notification behavior depends on device permissions and system settings. iOS features and OS requirements differ; check the listing for your device before downloading.
Get started with Simple Clock
- Place your device on a stable stand and open Simple Clock.
- Pick a comfortable light or dark appearance. On iOS, tap to hide controls once the clock is set up.
- If you need your schedule, enable calendar needles; on iOS you can also choose Reminders. Check that the expected items appear.
- Keep the app visible beside your main task. Adjust its settings when your room or routine changes.
