Live Photos contain a moment of motion that a still thumbnail does not show. Live Photos Player lets you choose Live Photos from your library and play several in a grid. Continuous playback makes it useful when you want to sit back and revisit a group of moments.
Make a small collection to watch
Choose a set from a trip, a family gathering or an ordinary day. Start playback and watch how the moments relate to each other. Use a smaller selection when you want to focus on one occasion, and return to Photos when you need to manage the originals.
Use the right media
The app is built for Live Photos rather than a folder of ordinary still images. Grid layout can differ by device and app version. The purpose here is viewing memories in motion; this guide does not promise a video-export or collage-editing workflow.
Get started with Live Photos Player
- Choose Live Photos from your library.
- Start the playing grid and review the selection.
- Change the selection when you want a different occasion or group of memories.
