TabBookmarkOverview displays and searches visual grids of tabs in the current window and saved bookmarks. It reads tab and bookmark titles, addresses, folder paths and icons. To display previews it captures page thumbnails and reads preview-image metadata, descriptions and theme colors. A thumbnail can include personal or sensitive information visible on the page.
Preview caches, display settings and local access records are stored in Chrome extension storage on your device. They are not synced to another browser or uploaded to VibeCoder Company as part of the preview feature. Tab-specific thumbnails are pruned when their tabs close or no longer exist. Bookmark snapshots can remain after a tab closes or the browser restarts, and caches for addresses no longer bookmarked are pruned. Removing the extension removes its extension storage.
For fallback previews, your browser can request bookmarked pages and preview images directly from their websites. Those sites receive normal network information, such as your IP address and the requested address. When you request bookmark screenshots, the extension loads the sites in a temporary browser window, which may use your existing site session. User-requested tab screenshot loading visits your existing tabs and can wake suspended pages. Loaded pages are not force-reloaded. These requests can cause the websites' own normal loading, cookies and content behavior.
You can use the free preview allowance without an account. If you choose Google sign-in to purchase or restore unlimited previews, Google authenticates you and provides the product server with a verified account identifier and email address. The integration requests identity and email access, not access to your Gmail, Drive or bookmarks.
The server stores a product account identifier derived from the verified Google identifier, your email address, app session records and purchase-access records in Google Cloud Firestore. Your email is used to identify the signed-in account. The extension stores an opaque app session and a bounded purchase-access cache locally. Google access, refresh and identity tokens are not stored by this integration or returned to the extension.
App sessions expire after 30 days or can be revoked by signing out. The extension's account-based access cache is valid for up to one hour and is refreshed when restoring or checking a purchase. Expiration prevents use of those records; the current implementation does not automatically delete expired or revoked server records. Signing out clears the local account session and revokes the current server session; it does not delete the account or purchase records.
Lemon Squeezy processes checkout and payment as merchant of record. Enter payment and billing information on its hosted checkout. The product integration does not store full card details. Applicable taxes and the final amount are displayed at checkout.
The server creates a short-lived purchase reference linked to your signed-in product account. It receives and verifies order events and reads order status from Lemon Squeezy to grant or restore unlimited previews and reconcile refunds or fraudulent orders. The stored records include order identifiers, product/account linkage, status, timestamps and access state. Provider responses and webhook payloads are processed to verify orders; the integration does not store their complete billing payloads.
A paid purchase covers unlimited previews in both modes. A full refund or invalidated order can remove its paid access; access can remain if the account has another active purchase. Existing grandfathered and locally licensed records are retained when updating the existing extension listing.
Data handled by the extension and product account server is used to provide visual previews, account authentication, checkout, purchase restoration and related security. The product code does not send preview browsing data to advertising or analytics services. Preview contents are not sent to Google sign-in or Lemon Squeezy by this integration.
Google provides authentication and cloud hosting/storage. Lemon Squeezy processes payment and order verification. These providers handle relevant data under the Google privacy policy and Lemon Squeezy privacy policy. Hosting services also process technical request information for operations and security. Selected login request queries are excluded from default log storage; other technical request records can remain.
Local preview retention is described above. Server account, order and access records are kept to support account access, restoration, refunds and security; the current product code has no automatic account/order deletion or retention scheduler. Provider-side payment and hosting records have separate retention settings and obligations.
Contact vibecoder.company@gmail.com from the account email for questions about your product account, access to records or a deletion request. Deleting account or order linkage can affect purchase restoration. Uninstalling clears local extension data but does not by itself delete server-held account or purchase records.
