PanoramaShare - Privacy Policy

Overview

PanoramaShare is an Apple Vision Pro app that lets you import, immersively view, and share 360° panoramas with a community. When you share one of your own panoramas, you unlock the ability to reveal three panoramas shared by others.

Data We Store

PanoramaShare stores the following information:

• • Panoramas you import and the captions you add to them
• • Panoramas you choose to publish to the community
• • Your iCloud user identifier, used to attribute your content and track your reveal credits
• • Reveal and quota records that determine how many community panoramas you can view
• • Reports you submit and users you choose to block

Data Storage

Your data is stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) in the following ways:

• • Private data: Panoramas you import stay on your device and sync to your own private iCloud (CloudKit) database, which only you can access. We cannot see this data.
• • Published data: Panoramas you choose to publish are stored in the app's public iCloud (CloudKit) database, where they can be read by other PanoramaShare users.

We do not use any third-party servers. All data lives in Apple's iCloud.

Authentication

PanoramaShare uses your Apple ID / iCloud account to identify you. We never see your Apple ID password. We store only your iCloud user record identifier to associate your content and reveal credits with your account.

Community & Sharing (User-Generated Content)

When you publish a panorama, it becomes visible to other PanoramaShare users in the community feed. You can remove any of your published panoramas at any time, which deletes them from the public iCloud (CloudKit) database.

Content Moderation & Safety

We take safety seriously and provide tools to keep the community respectful:

• • Reporting: You can report any panorama directly in the app.
• • Blocking: You can block other users so you no longer see their content.
• • Automatic hiding: Content that receives multiple reports is automatically hidden pending review.
• • Content Guidelines: All published content must follow our Content Guidelines. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content.

Photo Library Access

PanoramaShare requests access to your photo library only so you can import the panoramas you choose. We do not scan or upload any other photos.

Advertising / Analytics

PanoramaShare contains no advertising and no analytics. We do not track you and do not use any third-party analytics services.

Third-Party Services

This service is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications

PanoramaShare uses Apple push notifications only to keep your iCloud data in sync. We never send marketing or promotional notifications.

Data Deletion

You can remove any panorama you have published to the community at any time from within the app, which deletes it from the public iCloud (CloudKit) database. Deleting the app removes the panoramas and data stored on your device. You may also request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email address below, and we will delete it within 30 days of your request.

Children's Privacy

PanoramaShare is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
