Food Diary for Android lets you record meals with photos and notes, view your history on a calendar, and optionally connect to Health Connect. This policy applies to the Android app.
Meal entries, photos, notes, nutrition values, favorites, and app settings are stored on your device. This release does not require an account or upload diary content to a VibeCoder Company server. Android device backup may copy app data to your Google account if backup is enabled on your device. You can export your diary to a ZIP file and choose where to share it. Uninstalling or clearing the app removes its local data; manage any device backups in your Google account settings.
With your permission, the app reads supported activity, body, vital, sleep, and nutrition records from Health Connect to display them in the app. It can write meal nutrition to Health Connect when you choose to save a meal. You can change or revoke access in Health Connect.
Camera and photo access is used when you choose a meal image. If you open the in-app Google Images search, Google receives the search request and the usual information needed to load the page; Google's privacy policy applies there. The app can prepare an eating-habits prompt and copy it to your clipboard. It is sent to an AI app only if you choose to paste or share it there. The app does not run a remote AI analysis itself.
This version is free and does not display ads or include an advertising SDK.
Meal reminders are scheduled on your device. If you contact support, we receive the email and any diagnostic log or other content you choose to attach, and use it to respond to you.
