By using Expiration Date ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The App is available on iOS, Android, and as a ChatGPT App. These terms apply to all versions.
Expiration Date helps you track food expiration dates. You can add food items, set expiration dates, organize by category, attach photos, and receive reminders about expiring items.
You may use the App without an account on iOS (data stored locally). To sync across devices or use the ChatGPT or Android versions, you must sign in with a Google account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of tracking food items. You may not:
You retain ownership of all content you add to the App, including food names, notes, and photos. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you.
The App offers an optional Pro upgrade on iOS and Android. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be directed to the respective app store.
The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Apple iCloud, Google AdMob, and OpenAI (ChatGPT). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that expiration date tracking will prevent food waste or illness. Always use your own judgment regarding food safety.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
