ColoringBook turns any image you choose into a printable line-art coloring page and lets you color it with Apple Pencil. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data. The short answer: we don't collect your personal data. Everything stays on your device or in your iCloud account.
ColoringBook stores the following information locally on your device:
All of this data is stored on your device or synchronized through your personal iCloud account using CloudKit. We do not have access to any of this information.
ColoringBook uses Apple's CloudKit to synchronize your coloring pages across your devices. This synchronization is handled entirely through Apple's iCloud service using your Apple ID. We do not access, process, or store your data on our servers.
ColoringBook includes an in-app web browser so you can search for an image to color. The browser is provided by Apple's WebKit and we do not log, store, or transmit your browsing activity. When you tap "Paste" we read the system clipboard once to retrieve the image you copied; the clipboard content is used only to create your coloring page and is never sent off-device.
Drawing strokes are captured by Apple's PencilKit framework and saved locally as part of the coloring page. Strokes are only ever stored on your device and synchronized through your personal iCloud account.
The conversion from a source image to a black-and-white coloring page runs entirely on your device using Apple's Core Image framework. No images are uploaded to our servers or third-party services for processing.
We do not collect, track, or transmit any personal data. We do not use analytics services, advertising frameworks, crash reporting tools, or any other data collection mechanisms.
ColoringBook is designed to be enjoyed by users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
