AI Usage helps you track your daily usage of AI services. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data. The short answer: everything you enter stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account, and we never see it. The app does collect anonymous usage statistics to help us understand which features are used, as described below.
AI Usage stores the following information locally on your device:
All of this data is stored on your device using SwiftData or synchronized through your personal iCloud account using CloudKit. We do not have access to any of this information.
AI Usage uses Apple's CloudKit to synchronize your data across your devices. This synchronization is handled entirely through Apple's iCloud service using your Apple ID. We do not access, process, or store your data on our servers.
AI Usage uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics. This helps us understand which features people actually use so we can improve the app. The data collected is limited to:
We never send the contents of your trackers. Tracker names, usage percentages, dates, and any other information you enter are not included in analytics events, and are never transmitted to us or to Google.
This data is processed by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's privacy documentation for details on how Google handles it.
AI Usage does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and does not do so. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or any of the content you enter into the app. We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond the analytics processing described above, and we do not use crash reporting tools.
AI Usage does not display any advertisements and does not share data with any advertising networks.
AI Usage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
